About Kevin
I'm Kevin Herbas, a freelance AI engineer and backend specialist with over six years of experience automating data-heavy workflows for B2B teams. I build large-scale scraping systems, generative AI copilots, and Python services that let companies make faster, smarter decisions.
The Origin Story
Over the past few years I have delivered freelance automation stacks that collect, enrich, and activate mission-critical data for clients across Europe and Latin America. My background blends data engineering, backend architecture, and applied AI, giving me the toolkit to turn messy workflows into dependable software.
I lead projects end to end: architecting scraping clusters with Playwright and Scrapy, designing FastAPI services around PostgreSQL and Supabase, and layering in LangChain, LangGraph, or Pydantic-AI for applied intelligence. My goal is always the same - ship production-ready systems that deliver measurable impact from day one.
Recent highlights include Vitellus, a public procurement intelligence platform, Parker, a real-time Upwork monitoring bot, and TabCast, a Telegram product that converts articles into AI-generated audio. I'm currently based in Spain and collaborate with teams worldwide.
